Job Summary

As a Business Operations Team Lead at Sam's Club, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our business. You will be responsible for supervising a team of associates, communicating goals and feedback, training associates on processes and procedures, and providing direction and guidance to ensure member complaints and issues are resolved according to company guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and train a team of associates to ensure excellent member service and adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Communicate goals and feedback to associates, and provide direction and guidance to ensure member complaints and issues are resolved.
  • Process memberships, upgrades, and credit accounts, and encourage membership renewals.
  • Participate in sales and marketing events, and complete and maintain marketing recaps and other required documentation.
  • Oversee assigned area of responsibility, including handling claims and returns, zoning the area, and arranging and organizing merchandise.
  • Develop and implement processes and practices to meet business needs, and demonstrate compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity.
  • Lead and participate in teams, using and sharing resources, information, and tools, and determining customer needs and business priorities.
Requirements
  • 6 months retail experience, including operating front-end equipment, and 6 months customer service experience.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
