Restaurant Operations Manager

As a Restaurant Operations Manager at Jimmy John's, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our sandwich shop. Your primary goal will be to ensure that our customers receive world-class service and high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of Assistant Managers and employees to ensure efficient service and product delivery.
- Assign and oversee work to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Manage hiring, training, evaluating, and disciplining employees.
- Provide on-the-job training for new employees.
- Delegate and oversee the ordering, receipt, storage, and issuance of food, labor, equipment, cleaning, and paper supplies.
- Assist in supervising food preparation and service operations.
- Forecast food items to minimize waste and theft.
- Supervise food preparation and service operations while on duty.
- Ensure that every customer receives world-class customer service.
- Route deliveries and supervise drivers to maximize delivery business and speed.
- Complete daily food preparations, including opening procedures, meat and vegetable slicing, and bread production.
- Execute systems and procedures with 100% integrity and completeness.
- Complete daily, weekly, and period paperwork with accuracy.
- Control inventory using a weekly inventory system and maintain regular inventory ordering schedules.
- Conduct weekly manager meetings.
- Audit systems and procedures, as well as shift-ending paperwork.
- Complete preventative maintenance and upkeep on store equipment and supplies.
- Perform other related duties as required.
- Responsible for 100% of the cash drawers during the shift.
- Manage deposits and change orders per Deposit Operating Procedure.
- Requirements:
- Must be able to speak, read, and write the English language fluently and clearly.
- Must have strong math abilities in addition, subtraction, fractions, and percentages.
- Understand the use of personal computers and various software, such as Excel and Word.
- Required to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach with hands and arms, talk, hear, close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
- Occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, lift up to 50 pounds.
