LPN/Medical Assistant Role

This role at SolutionHealth involves working as part of a team to deliver high-quality patient care. As an LPN/Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for providing support to Registered Nurses, Providers, and Practice Manager.

Estimated Salary: $58,000 - $78,000 per year

You will be responsible for administering prescribed medications, treatments & immunizations, point-of-care testing, and collection /handling of specimens within the appropriate scope of practice. This role requires close collaboration with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Participate in the care of patients in person, via telephone (phone screening) and telehealth modalities under the supervision of the Provider(s).
  • Perform functions delegated by Provider(s) and Registered Nurses, including administering prescribed medications, treatments & immunizations, point-of-care testing, and collection /handling of specimens, within the appropriate scope of practice.
  • Collects and screens history and health-related information from patients and communicates findings to the Provider(s).
  • Communicates Provider advice/instructions and plan of care to patients.
  • Documents care activities in the medical record including procedures, interventions, patient/family communication, and test results with accuracy and detail.
