Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant General Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of service, maintaining food and beverage quality, and managing labor costs. Key Responsibilities- Ensure guest satisfaction by engaging with guests and responding to complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain the highest level of food and beverage quality by implementing quality control measures and conducting regular inspections.
- Manage labor costs by scheduling staff effectively and reviewing practices with the General Manager to ensure maximum efficiency.
- Ensure the restaurant is clean and able to pass inspections from Health Inspectors and the Executive Team.
- Develop and implement training programs to ensure all staff are properly trained and equipped to perform their duties.
- Monitor and control food and beverage costs by implementing cost-saving measures and reviewing inventory levels.
- Collaborate with the General Manager to establish and maintain a regular cleaning and maintenance schedule for the entire restaurant.
- Supervise, counsel, and discipline all employees to ensure a positive and professional work environment.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards and regulations.
- 2+ years of experience in a restaurant management role.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work a varying schedule, including mornings, days, evenings, holidays, and extended hours.
- Proficient in MS Word and Excel.
- Ability to type and use email and other technologies as assigned.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 35 pounds, and occasionally lift/move 50 pounds.
We offer a competitive salary based on previous work experience and knowledge, monthly bonuses with attainable goals, and a yearly bonus where you can earn up to 10% of your salary as a bonus. Additionally, you will receive vacation time, health insurance, and a total compensation package ranging from $45,000 to $55,000 based on experience and knowledge.
