Position Summary: We are looking for a bilingual Appointment Coordination Specialist to become a vital part of our Call Center team. This role involves managing patient interactions, scheduling appointments, and ensuring smooth communication across departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly to incoming patient calls and direct them to the appropriate departments.
- Schedule patient appointments accurately and resolve any scheduling conflicts.
- Maintain daily schedules for healthcare providers and related resources.
- Document messages in the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system clearly and efficiently.
- Uphold patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
- Collect and manage patient insurance and demographic information accurately.
- Conduct reminder calls for upcoming appointments.
- Participate in training and meetings as required.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred:
- Experience with multi-line phone systems.
- Prior call center experience.
- Relevant education and experience combination may be considered.

- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a culturally diverse environment.
