Position Summary: We are looking for a bilingual Appointment Coordination Specialist to become a vital part of our Call Center team. This role involves managing patient interactions, scheduling appointments, and ensuring smooth communication across departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly to incoming patient calls and direct them to the appropriate departments.
  • Schedule patient appointments accurately and resolve any scheduling conflicts.
  • Maintain daily schedules for healthcare providers and related resources.
  • Document messages in the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system clearly and efficiently.
  • Uphold patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
  • Collect and manage patient insurance and demographic information accurately.
  • Conduct reminder calls for upcoming appointments.
  • Participate in training and meetings as required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred:

  • Experience with multi-line phone systems.
  • Prior call center experience.
  • Relevant education and experience combination may be considered.

  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a culturally diverse environment.
