Manufacturing Engineer

At Ideal Tridon, we are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. As a key contributor, you will assist experienced engineers in tool design and development efforts, focusing on automation and progressive tool and die equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop automated and semi-automated processes to support our strategic manufacturing plan.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, government requirements, and company guidelines.
- Maintain and protect proprietary and confidential information.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve manufacturing goals.
Essential Functions:
- Design automation and progressive tool and die equipment for clamping products.
- Utilize SolidWorks to develop conceptual drawings and create design components from sketches and verbal instruction.
- Troubleshoot and solve production and shop floor problems.
- Develop processes, methods, tooling, and production controls for new programs.
- Re-design, repair, and maintain existing production equipment.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
- Prior related work experience or college internships are highly desired.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a team environment.
Physical Requirements:
- Sitting, standing, walking, and performing office and shop floor functions.
- Adequate eyesight to interpret mechanical drawings and dexterity to utilize computer equipment.
