Job Summary

As a Maintenance Planner, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our plant by planning and executing maintenance activities. This role requires strong leadership and technical skills to manage a team of maintenance personnel and coordinate with various stakeholders.


We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as a Maintenance Planner. The successful candidate will have a strong background in maintenance and engineering, with experience in supervising technical personnel and managing maintenance activities.


The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. They will also have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex maintenance issues.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Plan and execute maintenance activities to ensure the reliability and efficiency of plant equipment.


2. Supervise and coordinate the activities of maintenance personnel to ensure that generating requirements and plant efficiency are maintained.


3. Develop and manage maintenance budgets, including forecasting and tracking expenses.


4. Manage and maintain equipment records, including maintenance history and performance data.


5. Provide technical support and guidance to maintenance personnel to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.


6. Collaborate with other departments, including operations and engineering, to ensure that maintenance activities are aligned with business objectives.


7. Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.


8. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and contractors to ensure that maintenance activities are executed efficiently and effectively.


9. Manage and maintain CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to ensure that maintenance activities are tracked and reported accurately.


10. Participate in the development and implementation of maintenance strategies and policies to ensure that they are aligned with business objectives.


Requirements:


Bachelor of Science degree in engineering or equivalent experience preferred (or experience in lieu of). 10+ years of power plant or similar experience required. At least 5 years' experience supervising technical, supervisory and administrative personnel required. Strong leadership and motivational skills required.
