Cardiovascular Technologist Job Description

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for vascular studies and educate them on the procedures to be performed.
  • Perform and interpret vascular studies, identifying abnormalities and pathology.
  • Write detailed reports on the PACs system, ensuring accurate documentation.
  • Collaborate with interpreting physicians to discuss abnormal findings and develop treatment plans.
  • Meet the requirements of a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) and maintain certification.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field (preferred).
  • Current RVT certification.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in vascular technology (preferred).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
