We are seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to provide school-based services to K-12 students in the North Port, FL area.

Job Overview

As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will assess and treat students with communication and speech disorders, helping them thrive academically and socially. You will work closely with educators and parents to support student progress and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and diagnose speech and language disorders in students.
  • Design and implement therapy plans that target a range of communication skills.
  • Deliver one-on-one and group therapy sessions within the school setting.
  • Work closely with educators and parents to support student progress.
  • Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, providing insights for student goal setting.
  • Ensure compliance with school and state policies regarding therapy services.
Qualifications
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Florida SLP licensure.
  • Experience with K-12 students preferred.
