Job Title: Electrical Project Engineer

iParametrics LLC is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to join our team. As an Electrical Project Engineer, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing electrical systems on commercial construction projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate with design professionals, clients, and subcontractors to ensure electrical systems are properly designed and installed.
  • Interpret construction documents, technical manuals, and quantify materials required for electrical systems.
  • Organize and facilitate training of client personnel in the operations and maintenance of electrical systems.
  • Review and process submittal information to ensure accuracy and functionality of electrical systems.
  • Generate, receive, and distribute requests for information (RFI) related to electrical systems.
  • Field survey layout of control lines and benchmarks.
  • Serve as technical advisor at onsite field construction office.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of three (3) years of commercial building experience required.
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, construction management, or equivalent degree and/or equivalent field work experience required.
  • Education background in materials and methods of construction.
  • Strong team player with ability to collaborate with various personnel within and across departments and at all levels of leadership.
  • Flexible work schedule to accommodate changing construction schedule and sequences.
  • Ability to ascend and descend ladders, scaffolds, stairs, and work in confined spaces.
  • Ability to work in proximity to loud equipment and wear hearing protection as necessary.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with project management software such as Prolog, Procore, E-Builder, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, and Primavera Project Planner (P6).
  • Experience with design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks.
  • Training in design and construction document reading, design specifications, survey theory and techniques.
  • Experience in organizing technical data in a neat and accurate method.
Benefits and Compensation:

As a W2 employee of iParametrics LLC, team members are eligible for benefits such as medical, dental, and vision, and the company matching 401K plan, subject to plan terms and applicable waiting periods. Compensation for this position is salaried ($82,000 – $105,000) based on experience, background, and skills.
