The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) is an integral part of our healthcare team, providing clinical support and patient care in an ambulatory setting.
Responsibilities
- Perform safe clinical skills within the scope of practice of the CMA, including clinical duties in the management of ambulatory patients.
- Work under the direction of a licensed healthcare practitioner to provide high-quality patient care.
- Utilize knowledge to integrate available standards, resources, and data to support patient care.
- Assist with front office duties as needed, applying discretion, good judgment, and diplomacy to ensure excellent office and patient care management.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited program for Medical Assistants.
- Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C).
- Minimum one (1) year of experience in a physician's office or other medical facility preferred.
