We're seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at a Short Term Acute Care Hospital in Tacoma, WA. As a CNA, you'll play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and making a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.

Job Summary

This 13-week assignment offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic medical/surgical/telemetry environment. As a CNA, you'll be responsible for providing basic patient care, administering medications, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide and coordinate patient care with other healthcare team members
  • Administer medications as ordered with appropriate documentation
  • Monitor and evaluate patients before, during, and post-procedure
  • Share on-call responsibilities with a 30-minute response time
  • Maintain cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies
  • Transport patients as needed
Requirements
  • One to three years of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant
  • Valid CNA certification in the state of practice and BLS certification
  • Ability to work effectively with a variety of personnel and present a positive attitude
  • Technical/motor skills, including grasping, fine manipulation, pushing/pulling, and moving about when assisting with procedures
