About the Job:
We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Litigation Support Specialist. This position offers an excellent opportunity for someone to utilize their administrative skills and contribute to the success of our litigation team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing documents, scheduling appointments, and performing general administrative tasks. They must possess exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Experience with court procedures and rules, as well as proficiency in Microsoft products, is required.

Your Responsibilities:
* Prepare documents from written and oral dictation; compose drafts, and revise documents as needed
* Schedule couriers, notarial services, court reporters, and other special functions as assigned
* Transmit documents to clients, courts, and other agencies via appropriate method of service
* Open, review, and direct incoming mail
* Compose, type, and distribute correspondence using individual initiative and as assigned
* Organize and maintain electronic file systems; process all documents for appropriate filing
* Answer and screen telephone calls; assist callers whenever possible without giving legal advice
* Coordinate attorney appointments and due date calendars; ensure all dates are communicated with the appropriate party
* Prepare jury instructions and trial binders; coordinate trial exhibits
* Arrange and coordinate travel; prepare expense reports
* Process client disbursements, expense reports, and timesheets
* Ensure billable hours are input into computer system correctly and in a timely manner depending on individual attorney needs/assignment
* Conduct research as requested utilizing appropriate reference sources
* Assist in development and implementation of office systems and procedures as needed
* Perform general clerical duties including but not limited to filing, photocopying, faxing, and mailing as needed
