Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Staffing Coordinator to join our team at Lakeview Commons Assisted Living. As a Staffing Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our nursing department, including daily and monthly scheduling, interviewing and hiring Personal Care Providers (PCPs), and managing personnel records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staffing and Scheduling: Responsible for daily and monthly scheduling for the Nursing Department, ensuring adequate staffing levels to meet the needs of our residents.
  • Interviewing and Hiring: Interviews and hires Personal Care Providers (PCPs) to join our team.
  • Supply Management: Orders and stocks daily supplies to ensure a smooth operation of the nursing department.
  • Reporting and Record-Keeping: Maintains accurate personnel records, including absenteeism tracking, verification of new hire forms, uniforms, payroll records, and computerized reports.
  • Schedule Updates: Updates schedules for illnesses, emergencies, vacations, and client schedule changes.
Requirements
  • Strong Communication and Computer Skills: Must be capable of multitasking, have strong computer and communication skills.
  • Previous Experience: Previous interviewing experience, as well as experience in scheduling in the healthcare industry and using scheduling software, is a plus.

  • Competitive Compensation: Starting wage between $18.00/hour - $22.00/hour (depending on experience).
