About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Engineer to join our team at Encore Wire. As a key member of our Engineering & Maintenance support team, you will be responsible for managing our plant's BMS systems and supporting our Fire Systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and ensuring timely completion.
  • Support the Engineering department in project scheduling, proposal development, and document control.
  • Collaborate with contractors and maintenance personnel to achieve successful project completion.
  • Analyze the value of services received from existing and future contractors.
  • Assist with document control activities within the engineering and maintenance group.
Requirements
  • Engineering degree.
  • Minimum 5+ years of Facilities Engineering experience.
  • Strong background in project coordination and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, along with effective communication skills.
  • Good computing and software skills, including Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with hourly employees and exempt personnel in an industrial environment.
  • Experience with Fire Systems, Cooling Towers, piping systems, and manufacturing facilities.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Strong analytical skills with demonstrated problem-solving ability.
