Key Responsibilities:
The Facility Sanitation Specialist is responsible for maintaining cleanliness across all patient care, staff, administrative, and public areas within the organization. Duties include:
- Conducting thorough sanitization and disinfection tasks throughout all designated locations.
- Cleaning various areas including clinics, patient care zones, examination rooms, waiting areas, restrooms, offices, and meeting spaces.
- Performing general cleaning duties such as trash removal, recycling, biohazard disposal, dusting, wiping surfaces, glass cleaning, vacuuming, and mopping.
- Staying informed about effective disinfection practices and infection control standards in accordance with established guidelines.
- Executing light carpet extraction and safety flooring scrubbing using specialized equipment.
- Ensuring that paper and chemical supplies in work areas are organized and tidy.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the housekeeping cart.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Basic understanding of cleaning protocols and general housekeeping techniques.
- Preferred experience in a medical cleaning environment.
