Job Title: Protection M&S Engineer

Arcfield is a leading provider of innovative solutions for space mission engineering and launch assurance, miniaturized sensors and satellites, advanced modeling and simulation, cybersecurity, and conventional and hypersonic missile support. As a Protection M&S Engineer, you will be part of a skilled team supporting Space Protection-related Modeling and Simulation Analysis.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform space protection evaluations of threat avoidance concepts
  • Develop and maintain integrated software tools for evaluating satellite protection technologies and tradecraft
  • Conduct Modeling and Simulation (M&S) to support development and tailoring of software, algorithms, and technologies
  • Perform orbital analyses and trade studies
  • Conduct maneuver determination and analysis
  • Campaign modeling and scenario development, modeling, and analysis
Qualifications:
  • BS, MS, or PhD in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, physics, mathematics)
  • Must possess and maintain a TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph
  • Experience with space protection evaluations and collision avoidance evaluations
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Intelligence community domain knowledge and understanding of user needs and operational environments
  • Understanding of the systems engineering lifecycle
  • Experience developing M&S engineering code to solve hard problems
Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience in Radar and Electro-optical Engineering
  • Experience in Atmospheric Modeling
  • Experience in Data Mining, Analysis, Performance Analysis, Predictive Analytics, and Reporting
  • Experience in developing software applications and data architectures
  • Familiarity with formal Software Testing
