Your Role:

As a diligent and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Analyst, you possess a fervent commitment to delivering high-quality software solutions. Your proficiency in executing thorough testing processes ensures that applications are devoid of defects and function at peak performance. You excel in tackling intricate challenges, formulating innovative testing strategies, and implementing enhancements to elevate software quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and conduct software testing to ensure optimal performance and defect-free operation.
  • Participate in the creation of test data for applications.
  • Document and resolve complex issues effectively.
  • Provide progress updates on problem resolution to management.
  • Propose enhancements to existing procedures and develop models for potential future configurations.
  • Serve as a resource for technical writers and fellow Quality Assurance Analysts regarding assigned areas.
  • Conduct complex workflow analyses and recommend quality improvements.
  • Perform diagnostic tests on systems and applications, assessing performance and efficiency while suggesting technical solutions as necessary.
  • Collaborate with the technology team to enhance user interface elements, including navigation and server stability.
  • Assist in system configuration and network infrastructure to ensure deliverables align with business requirements and project specifications.
  • Ensure timely execution of test runs and reporting of results.
  • Develop and implement test plans to validate software functionality against requirements.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects and issues.
  • Conduct functional, performance, security, and regression testing of software products.
  • Communicate test results and defects to the development team and stakeholders, facilitating their resolution.
  • Provide constructive feedback to enhance the software development process across teams.
  • Stay informed about the latest testing tools, techniques, and methodologies.
  • Strive to ensure the highest quality of our CRM software through rigorous testing to identify and report errors.
  • Develop appropriate testing plans and frameworks that align with customer needs.
  • Coordinate various functions and teams to implement necessary product changes.

Our Team:

Lawelawe Defense Inc. is an SBA Certified 8(a) Native Hawaiian Owned (NHO) Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) with a proven track record in delivering diverse projects, including program and portfolio management, systems engineering and architecture, network engineering and operations, data center optimization, and desktop/server and application virtualization.

Qualifications:

  • At least 15 years of experience in a high-functioning, matrixed environment as a Senior Application Systems Analyst, Senior Software Tester, or similar role; a Bachelor of Science in a related field is required; a Master of Science in a related field is preferred with 10+ years of experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in roles demanding strong skills in Software Testing, Quality Assurance, or similar positions within a SaaS or Tech Consultancy environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to collaborate effectively with programmers, team members, and stakeholders while suggesting and implementing revisions to style guides.
  • Capacity to thrive in a collaborative, innovative, and high-functioning environment.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and an analytical mindset.
  • Strong attention to detail and vigilance in identifying and tracking defects.
  • Proficiency in testing tools such as JIRA, JAVA, Test Scripts, Regression, Python, C++, RF, Selenium, Appium, and other testing frameworks.
  • Black Belt Certification (Six Sigma) is required.
  • Active Secret clearance is required.
  • Must be a US Citizen.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM), ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL), Software Engineer Master Certification (SEMC), Certified Manager of Software Testing (CMST), Certified Software Tester (CSTE), Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), and Certified Planning Engineer (CPE) are advantageous.
