Position Summary:

Konexial Inc is in search of a meticulous and proactive Field Quality Engineer with a solid foundation in testing across iOS, Android, and Web platforms. The successful candidate will possess a robust background in manual testing and a comprehensive understanding of business processes and requirements. This role is essential for guaranteeing the quality and dependability of our applications across diverse platforms.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Formulate, execute, sustain, and enhance detailed testing plans and cases for mobile and web applications.
  • Conduct extensive testing to uncover software defects and uphold the highest quality benchmarks.
  • Design and execute user interface tests to ensure a flawless user experience across all platforms.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to grasp business requirements and translate them into effective testing strategies.
  • Identify, document, and monitor bugs utilizing appropriate tracking systems.
  • Engage closely with developers to address issues and promote continuous enhancement in the software development lifecycle.
  • Deliver regular updates on testing status, defects, and overall quality metrics.
  • Work alongside Scrum teams to comprehend product features and requirements, contributing to clear and concise testing objectives.
  • Assist in the design and execution of system-level tests to validate functionality across various software and firmware components.
  • Support regression testing to detect any potential issues following modifications or updates to software and firmware.
  • Facilitate performance testing to assess system behavior under varying conditions and loads.
  • Analyze testing outcomes, document defects, and collaborate with development teams to ensure prompt resolution.
  • Participate in Scrum meetings and provide updates on QA progress and challenges.
  • Stay informed about the latest industry trends and best practices in quality assurance and testing.

Qualifications:

To Qualify for This Role, You Will Need:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in quality assurance.
  • Familiarity with user interface testing tools and methodologies.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the capacity to convey technical business requirements to various internal and external stakeholders.
  • A keen attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of SQL or any programming language.
  • Familiarity with the iOS XCTest framework.
  • Experience with mobile applications.
  • Understanding of regression testing principles.
