We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Elementary School Inclusive Learning Specialist to join our team at East Harlem Tutorial Program. As a member of our instructional leadership team, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality instruction and support to our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement inclusive lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and supportive classroom environment
  • Track and measure student progress, including managing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching practices and stay up-to-date with best practices in inclusive education
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of school-wide initiatives that promote equity and inclusion
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Education or a related field
  • Special Education NYS Certification or willingness to obtain
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in relevant educational positions
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Commitment to ongoing professional growth and development
