About the Role:

  • Provide personalized care to clients, assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Help clients maintain their independence by performing light housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning, laundry, and making beds.
  • Monitor health and vital signs, reporting any changes to the supervising nurse or healthcare provider.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with mobility, including transferring from bed to wheelchair, walking, and exercising.
  • Prepare meals and assist with feeding clients who require assistance.
  • Engage clients in meaningful conversation and activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
  • Accompany clients to appointments, social activities, and errands as needed.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification or Personal Care Assistant (PCA) certification.
  • CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
  • Previous experience in a home care or healthcare setting is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting and transferring clients.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • An estimated salary range of $29,120 to $37,440 per year.
