Job Overview:

Supports the efficient processing and maintenance of supplies and equipment required for patient care by assisting various departments with sterile and unsterile items.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and maintain supplies and equipment for the Operation Room, Labor and Delivery Nursing Units, Emergency Room, Clinics, and other departments.
  • Ensure the proper cleaning, isolation, and sterilization of equipment and supplies.
  • Identify and report safety issues, such as hazardous environments, to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements:

  • Certification required.
  • Minimum of 1-year hospital experience required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • One to two years of Central Sterile experience preferred.
