Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Central Sterile Technician to join our team at 1199SEIU Employment Center. As a Central Sterile Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient processing of surgical instruments and equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Manually clean and reprocess surgical tools and endoscopes in a safe and cost-effective manner.
  • Execute the cleaning, sterilization, and assembly of equipment, supplies, and instruments following prescribed procedures and techniques.
  • Work under the direction of the patient care director/clinical manager to ensure compliance with established policies.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED/TASC required.
  • Prior CSPD experience preferred.
  • Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) certification from the Healthcare Sterile Processing Association or Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD) certification required.

Work Schedule:

All positions are in hospitals and nursing homes, which are open 24 hours/7 days each week. We require every other weekend for all positions, and COVID-19 vaccination is mandatory.
