Work ScheduleThis is a 13-week contract position, working 5 days a week from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with no weekends or holidays.
Responsibilities and TasksPrimary Responsibilities:
- Providing clinical care to patients under the supervision of a professional nurse or licensed medical practitioner.
- Preparing exam rooms and treatment areas with necessary supplies and equipment.
- Assisting patients during physician visits and examinations as directed.
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Maintaining accurate records and filing documents as needed.
- Providing administrative support with collections and billing procedures.
- Utilizing computer software to maintain office systems and streamline processes.
Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
Certification: Certification in Medical Assisting (CMA-NHA, CMA-NCCT, CMA-AAMA, RMA-AMT, RMA-NAHP, AMCA, NCMA).
Skills and Experience: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, knowledge of computerized processes and data entry procedures, and physical abilities including lifting a minimum of 5 lbs., pushing and pulling a minimum of 10 lbs., and standing for a minimum of 6 hours a day.
Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
