Position Title: Employment Training Program Specialist (Part-Time)
This role is dedicated to delivering various training services tailored for clients within Wedgwood Christian Services' residential treatment initiatives for youth. The individuals served are at-risk youth who qualify for the program, gaining essential hands-on and vocational skills to enhance their employability upon completion of their time at Wedgwood.
*This role has the potential to evolve into a permanent full-time position following the lawn care season. The working hours will be divided between the Employment Training Program and a Residential Program, contingent upon supervisor approval.
Working Hours: Shifts available from 9am to 8pm, Monday through Friday, including every other Saturday.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma is mandatory
- Experience working with adolescents or prior supervisory or teaching experience is preferred
- Experience in lawn care is advantageous
- Woodshop or carpentry skills are desirable
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. of stationary weight
- Physical ability to bend, twist, stoop, and manage the weight of materials is essential
- A valid driver's license is required for transportation purposes
- Must subscribe to the Statement of Faith of Wedgwood Christian Services and align with the agency's goals, purposes, and objectives.
