Donation Attendant

The Salvation Army USA Central Territory is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Donation Attendant to join our team in Dekalb, IL. As a key member of our donation processing team, you will be responsible for ensuring a positive donor experience while maintaining a safe and efficient donation processing environment.

• Donation Processing: Receive and process donations from donors, ensuring accurate and efficient processing of all donations.
• Donor Interaction: Provide exceptional customer service to donors, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience.
• Donation Area Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized donation area, ensuring a safe and efficient processing environment.
• Security and Safety: Ensure the security and safety of all donations and personnel, reporting any incidents or concerns to management.
• Donation Sorting and Loading: Sort and load donations onto Salvation Army trucks, ensuring accurate and efficient loading procedures.
• Flexibility and Availability: Be available to work a flexible schedule, including early shifts, late shifts, and weekends, as needed.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent: Required
• Excellent Communication and Customer Service Skills: Required
• Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment: Required
• Physical Ability to Lift and Move Donations: Required
