Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Field Technician to join our team at Price Chopper Supermarkets-Market 32. As an IT Field Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, installing, repairing, and replacing IT equipment and related hardware and software within our grocery stores and administrative support locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with computer hardware and software, including registers, scales, servers, switches, printers, and other equipment.
  • Install and configure new IT equipment and software, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on IT equipment, including network wiring and terminations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers, ensuring a positive experience with our company.
  • Collaborate with management and associates to identify and resolve technical issues, and to develop best practices for IT equipment use and maintenance.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and advancements, and apply this knowledge to improve our IT systems and processes.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • At least two years of experience in IT hardware and software support, with a focus on retail or grocery store environments.
  • Strong knowledge of PC hardware and software, including network and server systems.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to various locations as needed.
Working Conditions

This position requires frequent travel to various locations, including grocery stores and administrative support locations. The successful candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service and resolving technical issues in a timely manner.
