Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Pipeline Design Engineer I to join our Pipeline Project Team. The successful candidate will design, evaluate, and implement efficient pipeline engineering projects to improve safety, reliability, and efficiency of operations in various geographical areas throughout Southern California.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate with internal and external teams to create pipeline design deliverables at various design levels.
- Develop pipeline engineering design, including process diagrams, plans, and profiles.
- Review vendor drawings, datasheets, specifications, and other documents.
- Support clients and project stakeholders to identify project needs and develop project scoping documents.
- Maintain effective communication and relationships with project team members and clients.
- Experience in gas utilities and/or gas processing design engineering.
- Planning distribution work experience.
- S. Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or similar field.
- Technical knowledge and experience in pipeline engineering and design.
- Minimum 2-6 years of relevant full-time engineering experience.
- Working knowledge of CFR 49 Parts 191, 192, and 195.
- Familiarity with ASME/ANSI B314 and B31.8 codes and regulations.
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certification.
