Job Overview

Key Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of injection molding, process control, and equipment capabilities.
  • Act as a senior troubleshooter for any issues arising during production, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Contribute to New Product Introduction (NPI) teams by providing insights on Design for Manufacturability.
  • Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives aligned with organizational goals.
  • Design efficient work cell layouts using ergonomic principles and lean methodologies.
  • Provide expert analysis and preventive measures in response to customer feedback.
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering during project development to ensure seamless equipment operation and maintenance.
  • Assist in training operational staff on the setup and use of new machinery and automation systems.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation to comply with company standards and protocols.
  • Engage with customer representatives to capture and understand their requirements.
  • Oversee modifications to tooling and equipment to enhance the molding process and meet customer specifications.
  • Validate processes to meet both customer and internal quality standards.
  • Undertake special projects as assigned by management.
  • Continuously enhance professional skills through relevant training opportunities.
  • Perform additional tasks related to manufacturing and engineering as required.
