Baldwin Supply Company is a leading distributor of mechanical power transmission, conveyor belts, electric motors, and control products in the upper Midwest.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Sales Account Manager to be based in Minnesota and help expand our business throughout the state.

This role involves promoting power transmission, conveyor belting, electric motor, automation and industrial supply products from Baldwin. The ideal candidate will recommend products and services with the best combination of performance and cost based on customer requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Promote power transmission, conveyor belting, electric motor, automation and industrial supply products from Baldwin
  • Identify target prospects and create strategic plans to turn prospects into customers
  • Build and sustain strong, long lasting customer relationships
  • Constantly promote Baldwin's value by providing best in class customer service and technical expertise
  • Coordinate with product specialists and inside sales team to efficiently manage current business and secure new business
  • Maintain professional working relationships with strategic suppliers to Baldwin
  • Participate in company-sponsored sales and technical training sessions

Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year

Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven outside industrial sales experience with a tangible product
  • Proven experience and success in developing new business, building repeat business, and managing a sales territory
  • Established client relationships in the state of Minnesota
  • High School Diploma or GED. Preferred Bachelors' Degree in Engineering, Industrial Supply or Business
  • Strong desire to achieve and succeed
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong computer skills
  • Valid Driver's License and good driving record
