We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrician to join our team at Brite Electrical, a leading electrical contractor in Norfolk, Virginia. As an integral part of our commercial electrical services, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in commercial settings.

The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong technical skills, and a commitment to safety. With a valid electrician license or certification, you will be able to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout and installation procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, including wiring, fixtures, and equipment in commercial buildings.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems to ensure functionality and compliance with regulations.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to plan and execute electrical installations and upgrades.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Electrician in a commercial or industrial setting.
  • Valid electrician license or certification.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
