Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our PreOp PACU team at Abrazo West Campus. As a RN PreOp PACU Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. Your expertise and compassion will make a significant difference in the lives of our patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide individualized, age-specific, and direct bedside nursing care based on the nursing process and patient needs.
  • Coordinate care planning with other disciplines to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Act as a supervisor by assessing, planning, delegating, and utilizing independent judgment in directing other healthcare employees for the provision of patient care.
  • Systematically evaluate the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice to identify patient goals.
  • Participate in hourly rounding to ensure patient satisfaction and comfort.
  • Observe safety guidelines and safe work practices to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.

Requirements

  • License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Arizona.
  • CPR certification.
  • ACLS certification as applicable by Facility/by Department.
  • Minimum of two years of current Level III NICU experience including neonatal ventilator.
  • Prefer 1 year of acute care experience but will consider new graduate.
  • Certification in specialty area of practice preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • BSN degree from an accredited nursing school.
  • Strongly preferred experience in CVICU or ICU or Min 2 years in Cardiac Stepdown.
