About the Role

As a RN OR Team Lead Days at Abrazo West Campus, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our surgical services department. This is a challenging and rewarding position that requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional nursing care within the intraoperative areas, including pre-op and PACU as needed.
  • Assume a lead role for an assigned surgery services service line, anticipating physician needs and maintaining preference cards.
  • Train new employees and liaise with Supply Chain Management, Environmental Services, and Central Sterile Processing to ensure sufficient supplies.
  • Scrubs/Circulates as needed and floats as required.
  • Liaise with Physician/Surgeon to understand physician preferences related to room setup, availability of supplies, and operating environment.
Requirements
  • Current RN license in the state of Arizona, or compact state.
  • 3-5 years of operating room experience, with a preference for 5 years or more.
  • Ability to operate in stressful situations and act with diplomacy.
  • Learns physician preferences and applies knowledge to working environment.
