Speech Therapist Home Health PRN

Pinnacle Home Care Inc. is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Therapist to join our team of skilled home health care providers.
Responsibilities:- Evaluate clients' level of functioning and hearing, and recommend mechanisms to enhance their hearing ability.
- Provide initial and ongoing comprehensive assessments of clients' needs, including OASIS assessments.
- Establish a Speech Therapy treatment plan in consultation with the physician and revise it with the physician's approval as necessary.
- Assist in the development and implementation of the interdisciplinary client care plan as it pertains to Speech Therapy.
- Communicate with other team members and instruct them in speech pathology techniques when necessary.
- Teach, supervise, and counsel clients and their families in the total Speech Therapy program and other related problems.
- Record all evaluation data, treatments, and clients' responses to therapeutic intervention in a timely manner.
- Supervise Home Health Aides every 14 days when Speech Therapy is the only professional discipline involved in the client's care.
- Record and report to the physician the client's reaction to treatment and any changes in their condition.
- Participate in the development of periodic revisions of the physician's plan of treatment, keeping them informed of the patient's status and obtaining additional orders if necessary.
- Graduate of an accredited Speech Therapy program or equivalent education.
- Licensed in the State of Florida as a Speech Therapist.
- Two years of clinical experience as a Speech Therapist.
- Current BLS Certification.
- Licensed driver with an automobile that is in good working order and insured in accordance with the organization's requirements.
- Must display good emotional health and be able to physically tolerate much standing, stooping, and bending.
