Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist with Pinnacle Home Care Inc., you will have the opportunity to work with patients in their homes, providing personalized care and support to help them achieve their goals and improve their overall well-being.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients' functional status and develop personalized treatment plans to improve their ability to perform daily activities.
  • Conduct home assessments to identify potential hazards and barriers to independent living, and provide recommendations for equipment and modifications to improve safety and accessibility.
  • Develop and implement treatment programs to improve patients' functional abilities, including teaching new skills and retraining patients in daily activities.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed clinical records, and submit reports to physicians as required.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an Occupational Therapy curriculum accredited by the American Occupational Therapy Association.
  • Registered with the National Registration Examination of the American Occupational Therapy Association.
  • Licensed to practice as an OT in the State of Florida.
  • Two years of clinical experience as an occupational therapist.
  • Current BLS Certification.
  • Demonstrated good verbal and written communication and organization skills.
