We are seeking a highly motivated and creative individual to join our Digital Media team as a Photography Intern. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in visual content creation, work with a talented team, and contribute to the success of the University of Kansas.

About the Position

This internship is part of the Academic Success Initiatives program, which aims to enhance the academic experience of students through innovative and engaging content. As a Photography Intern, you will have the chance to work on a wide range of projects, from creating photography content for educational purposes to developing motion graphics and supporting social media efforts.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development and implementation of photography content for various Academic Affairs units.
  • Collaborate with the Videography Intern to produce high-quality content for different platforms.
  • Work independently to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Participate in team meetings and provide feedback on projects.
Requirements
  1. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and/or similar photo editing and motion graphics programs.
  2. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  3. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  4. Previous experience with camera and lighting equipment.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is around $40,000-$55,000, depending on qualifications and experience. The University of Kansas offers competitive benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
