Job Overview

The University of Kansas William Allen White School of Journalism and Mass Communications is seeking highly qualified individuals to teach in various courses across the school. Responsibilities
  • Teach graduate and undergraduate courses in journalism and mass communications, including digital media, marketing, and public relations.
  • Develop and implement curriculum for assigned courses, ensuring alignment with program goals and objectives.
  • Mentor and advise students, providing guidance and support throughout their academic journey.
Requirements

Qualified applicants must possess a PhD, JD, MD, or other post-graduate doctoral degree, or a Master's degree with significant relevant experience. A strong background in teaching and research is essential, with a demonstrated ability to engage students and inspire learning.

Preferred Qualifications

Successful teaching experience at a 4-year college, earned Doctorate, and a proven track record of scholarly research and publication are highly desirable.

Salary Information
