About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior BI ETL Developer to join our team at Consolidated Edison Inc. As a key member of our Business Systems Delivery team, you will be responsible for leading system development and vendor implementation efforts, from project initiation through post-implementation support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead system development and vendor implementation efforts, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery of projects.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify and solve technical problems, and provide technical support as needed.
  • Develop and maintain enterprise-level software solutions, working closely with product owners, architects, development team members, trainers, testers, and analysts.
  • Manage and prioritize customer requests, analyzing business requirements and presenting solution options to meet strategic objectives and outcomes.
  • Develop and deliver project plans, budget, and cost tracking for medium-complexity projects.
  • Lead IT teams and work with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals, providing regular development feedback and coaching new team members.
  • Manage incidents, triage problems, and implement incident prevention using techniques such as Human Performance Improvement.
  • Participate in disaster recovery drills and lead significant portions of IT process improvement teams.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree and three years of relevant experience, or Bachelor's Degree and four years of relevant experience, or Associate's Degree and five years of relevant experience, or High School Diploma/GED with Technical Certification in IT Technologies and seven years of relevant experience.
  • Three years of experience with at least two of the following technologies: Structured Query Language (SQL), Oracle RDBMS development, SQL Server development, Business Analysis, or Project Management.
  • Two years of experience working with users to define, specify, and implement complex reports, and understanding complex data models and designing or troubleshooting complex database queries.
  • Two years of experience working with Oracle Analytics Cloud and three years of experience developing and supporting Oracle Data Integrator ODI ETLs and building data models.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, project management skills, analytical skills, problem-solving skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
