Job Title: Registered Dietitian

At THIRA Health, we are seeking a highly skilled Registered Dietitian to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing nutrition assessment and counseling to patients, as well as coordinating care with clinical and medical treatment teams.

Job Summary:

As a Registered Dietitian, you will be responsible for the general oversight of all meal and nutrition-related aspects of programming and patient care. This includes providing direct nutritional care, monitoring and assisting patients with meal preparation and planning, and supporting the development of meal and snack menus that positively impact treatment outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct nutritional care to patients, including nutrition assessments, care planning, monitoring, and evaluation.
  • Coordinate weekly meetings with patients to develop meal plans and establish/assess nutrition goals using a HAES (Health at Every Size) approach.
  • Monitor and assist patients with meal preparation and planning.
  • Support the development of meal and snack menus that positively impact treatment outcomes.
  • Maintain all nutritional data for patients in EMR patient charts.
  • Communicate with outside providers and patient family members regarding nutritional information as needed.
  • Coordinate patient care with multidisciplinary teams.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Clinical Dietetics, Nutrition, Public Health, or related field required; Master's Degree preferred.
  • Graduate of an accredited Dietetics program.
  • Current Registered Dietitian license in good standing with Washington State Certification.
  • Active WA State Food Worker's Card.
  • Prior experience with eating disorders, trauma, chemical dependency, mood disorders, and/or anxiety-disordered patients preferred.
  • Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background check.
