Store Associate Opportunity in Prior Lake

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Store Associate to join our team at our Prior Lake location. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and supporting the sales floor team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide prompt and courteous customer service to ensure a positive shopping experience
  • Ring up sales accurately and efficiently on the cash register
  • Perform multi-function duties such as fuel console operation, lottery machine management, and telecom transactions
  • Maintain store cleanliness and organization, including sweeping, mopping, and restocking shelves
  • Inspect store facilities and equipment for safety and proper working order
  • Assist with receiving and verifying vendor deliveries
  • Control merchandise, cash shortages, and other selling expenses
  • Assist new applicants with the application process

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Experience in retail sales or customer service preferred
  • Ability to stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours
  • Ability to occasionally lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds from ground to overhead
  • Ability to push/pull with arms up to a force of 20 pounds
  • Ability to bend at waist with some twisting up to one hour
  • Ability to grasp, reach, and manipulate objects with hands

Working Conditions:

  • Perform approximately 95% of all work indoors, but will be required to work outside to clean parking lots, gas pumps, and take-out garbage
  • Exposure to extreme cold temperatures while performing occasional work in a walk-in cooler and/or freezer
  • Exposure to occasional noise

Physical Functions:

  • Ability to stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours
  • Ability to occasionally lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds from ground to overhead
  • Ability to occasionally lift and/or carry up to 60 pounds from ground to waist level
  • Ability to push/pull with arms up to a force of 20 pounds
  • Ability to bend at waist with some twisting up to one hour
  • Ability to grasp, reach, and manipulate objects with hands
