Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our team at California Foot & Ankle Centers. As a key member of our interventional radiology team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working closely with our medical staff to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Responsibilities:- Obtain thorough patient history, perform focused physical examination, and formulate treatment plans
- Review pre-procedure instructions, explain procedures, and review procedural risks and benefits with patients
- Obtain vascular access and perform conservative therapy evaluation, microsurgical phlebectomy, ultrasound-guided sclerotherapy, and visual sclerotherapy
- Maintain prompt and timely communication with referring clinicians and patients
- Educate and counsel patients, and distribute educational materials
- Document within the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and complete other necessary documents
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a physician's office or hospital setting
- Current Texas RN license and Texas Advance Practice Nurse Prescriber License
- Basic working knowledge of managed care and Medicare population
- Procedural experience, preferably assisting Interventional Radiologists
- Skilled in surgical techniques
