About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Industrial Service Technician to join our team at Atlas Copco. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch service and support to our customers, ensuring their equipment is running efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair air compressors, air dryers, drains, controllers, and low-pressure blowers.
  • Set, install, and pipe compressor systems, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain a high level of technical expertise, including knowledge of VSDs, refrigeration, industrial networks, remote monitoring, and air audits.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, communicating effectively with customers and service managers to ensure all services are performed to the highest standard.
  • Complete all service-related documentation, including service reports, start-up forms, warranty forms, oil sample forms, and parts return documents.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs, including training at our Air Academy and working with senior service technicians.
  • Adhere to all safety procedures and protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.
  • Work collaboratively with the service team to achieve business objectives and goals.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of technical experience in the mechanical, maintenance, or electrical field.
  • Experience with the maintenance, overhaul, and repair of a wide variety of industrial equipment, including electrical, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
  • Ability to work independently and complete tasks within assigned deadlines.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a customer-focused mindset.
  • Proficiency in using computers to complete work orders, ordering parts, and training.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis and work in industrial environments with varying temperatures.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; certifications a plus (EPA Certified).
  • Valid driver's license and fluency in English.
