Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Specialist to join our team at Ledgent Finance & Accounting.

About the Role

This is a full-time position responsible for processing and reconciling accounts payable invoices, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring accurate financial records.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal departments to gather and analyze financial data.
  • Process and reconcile accounts payable invoices, verify entries, and charge expenses to accounts and cost centers.
  • Monitor payroll expense claims, including salary advances and overtime payments.
  • Reconcile account transactions with the general ledger.
  • Perform recordkeeping and prepare financial reports.
  • Maintain knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in accounting.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience as an accounts payable specialist or similar role.
  • Advanced competency in accounting and business management software, such as Unanet or Costpoint.
  • In-depth knowledge of accounts payable principles, accounting standards, and industry regulations.
  • Extensive experience in account reconciliation.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Great collaboration and communication abilities.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is around $65,000-$80,000 depending on qualifications and experience. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
