About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee all aspects of our maintenance and engineering operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the maintenance team, implementing preventative maintenance programs, and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of all mechanical and electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the maintenance team, including technicians, electricians, and other personnel, to ensure the effective operation and upkeep of facilities and equipment.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive preventative maintenance programs for all mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems, including scheduling regular inspections, servicing, and repairs to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of all equipment and machinery within the organization, including boilers, HVAC systems, plumbing, and electrical systems, to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and codes related to building maintenance, fire safety, environmental standards, and occupational health and safety, maintaining accurate records and documentation as required.
  • Develop and implement emergency response protocols and procedures for handling equipment failures, power outages, and other unforeseen events, ensuring minimal disruption to operations and guest services.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a senior maintenance or engineering role, preferably in the hospitality or facilities management industry, with a strong background in mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems.
  • Thorough knowledge of building systems and maintenance practices, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire safety systems, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Clear and effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate with other departments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues, evaluate options, and implement solutions to optimize performance and efficiency.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy in maintenance planning, documentation, and record-keeping.
