Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Manager to join our team at Veolia Environnement SA. As an Electrical Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for developing work plans and managing maintenance projects and records, as well as spending time out in the areas of plant operations to study systems and equipment and develop work plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Management of Employees and Resources: Manage employees, materials, spare-parts, and supplies to support efficient and effective maintenance projects for the Maintenance Department and Operations Department.
  • Work Planning and Scheduling: Prepare detailed job schedules, providing fully developed work plans for projects and environmental compliance issues.
  • Coordination and Execution: Coordinate labor, parts, materials, tools/equipment, and access to equipment for maintenance projects.
  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor performance against goals/estimates, maintain records of maintenance execution, equipment histories, and equipment parts usage, and logistical requirements.
  • Project Management: Manage Maintenance Projects outsourced to mechanical or electrical vendors and CMMS database.
  • Electrical Switching and Maintenance: Develop MV and LV switching orders and supervise MV and LV electrical switching. Oversee MV Substation and breaker maintenance procedures, testing, and evaluating test results.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Technical or trade school graduate, 4 years' experience supervising a plant, building, or large facility as a Maintenance Manager or Senior Planner/Scheduler, 2 years' experience leading or supervising a small team of technicians.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Demonstrated experience with instrumentation and control systems for Plant Operations, experience in a plant, building, or facility maintenance background, supervisory experience as a Maintenance Manager in Energy & Utilities or Engineering Services, working knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Microsoft Office.
