As a Breast Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting a range of radiological procedures tailored to the assessment and management of breast health issues in a bustling outpatient environment.

Your primary duty will be to generate high-quality imaging results while ensuring a compassionate and supportive experience for all patients.

In addition, you will share the responsibility for executing necessary quality assurance measures as outlined by the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) and the FDA.

Depending on the facility, you may also be called upon to apply general radiography expertise to perform additional diagnostic imaging examinations.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited radiologic technology training program, qualifying for registry with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

Upon Employment:

  • Washington Radiologic Technologist License
  • National Provider BLS Certification - American Heart Association
  • National Registered Technologist - Radiography - ARRT

Within One Year of Employment:

  • National Registered Technologist - Mammography

Prior experience in general radiography may be advantageous, depending on the location.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Two years of full-time experience in mammography.
