About the Role:

As a Senior Real Estate Appraisal Executive at CBRE, you will be responsible for preparing market value appraisals on complex real estate assets. You will work independently to analyze and value real estate with the highest quality of work product.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify value to be estimated by discussing appraisal requests with clients and understanding their needs.
  • Determine the valuation method by selecting the appropriate approach and techniques for valuing property.
  • Research and analyze property information by collecting, verifying, and analyzing data regarding inventory of competitive properties, sales and listings, vacancies and offerings, and more.
  • Prepare appraisal reports by describing physical and economic property characteristics, appraisal procedures used, and information analyzed.
  • Maintain the organization's reputation by conforming to the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) and keeping information confidential.
  • Sell a significant amount of work to be completed by yourself and others in the line of business.
  • Contribute to overall organizational goals by adding to the database, setting up a library, specializing in niche real estate markets, mentoring trainees, and engaging in client development.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university required. Master's degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 12 years of commercial appraisal experience and 3 years of commercial appraisal review experience. Institutional review experience is a plus.
  • Must have General State Certification/License and MAI designation.
  • Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex business documents. Ability to respond effectively to sensitive issues.
  • Above-average knowledge of financial real estate terms and principles. Complete understanding of approaches to value of real estate assets.
  • Ability to solve advanced problems and deal with a variety of options in complex situations. Requires expert-level analytical and quantitative skills with proven experience in developing strategic solutions for a growing matrix-based multi-industry sales environment.
  • Proficient in Argus, MS Word, and MS Excel. Good writing skills.

The minimum salary for this position is $62,400.00 annually or $30.00 per hour, and the maximum salary is $66,560.00 annually or $32.00 per hour. The compensation offered will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.

This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
