Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Associate, Data Governance to join our Consulting organization. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience in data governance, enterprise data management, or a similar field within a professional services firm, internal strategy/EDM group, or comparable environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize extensive sector-specific and business-process knowledge to drive data governance and EDM strategy, transformation, and solution design engagements.
  • Gather and analyze client and market data through interviews, surveys, workshops, and market research.
  • Develop and articulate requirements for data governance frameworks and EDM practices.
  • Assess current data governance maturity levels using models such as DCAM, DAMA DMM, CMMI DMM, KPMG ADM.
  • Communicate data governance concepts to non-technical team members.
  • Build and enhance client relationships by engaging with various levels of client team members.
  • Apply data governance and EDM concepts to address business problems.
  • Lead and facilitate information-gathering exercises to evaluate readiness for data governance and transformation strategies.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of three years of experience in data governance, enterprise data management, or a similar field.
  • Experience in strategy and/or data management consulting is highly valued.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or quantitative field from an accredited institution (Master's or MBA preferred).
  • Knowledge in areas such as data governance, data quality, metadata management, master data management, data architecture, and data management principles.

Salary Range

$120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on location and experience.

This role requires strong project management skills, ability to leverage market leading data governance tools, and demonstrated ability to manage engagements and interface with senior management internally and with clients.
