Senior Government Contracting Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Government Contracting Specialist to join our team at Booz Allen Hamilton. This role will involve providing critical support in reviewing, drafting, and revising contracting and acquisition documentation.
About the RoleThe ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience with procurement planning, pre-award documentation, post-award proposal management, and contracts administration. They will be responsible for researching federal, DoD, and Navy pre-award and post-award contracting procedures, as well as using excellent interpersonal expertise to make sound business judgments.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and review procurement request (PR) packages, including Acquisition Plans (APs), Acquisition Strategies (AS), Statements of Work (SOWs), Performance Work Statements (PWSs), Source Selection Plans (SSPs), Justification and Approvals (J&As), Determination and Finding (D&F), and the Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL)
- Provide contractual advice to customers and clients, including researching, analyzing, and interpreting complex acquisition rules and regulations
- Work independently and as part of a team to provide client-focused service in all aspects of the federal government contracting life cycle
- TS/SCI clearance
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience with FAR, DFARS, and DoD 5000 series regulations and laws, executive orders, statutes, and principles of acquisition planning
We offer a competitive salary range of $51,700.00 to $106,000.00 per year, depending on location and qualifications.
