Key Responsibilities
To excel in this position, the individual must effectively carry out the following duties:

  • IP Strategy Development:
    Lead discussions to create a comprehensive IP management strategy that aligns with the company's business objectives and strengthens its position in the real estate sector.
  • IP Portfolio Management:
    Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to oversee the company's portfolio of patents, trademarks, and copyrights relevant to property management innovations.
  • Patent Administration:
    Work alongside legal teams and external patent attorneys to draft, file, and manage patent applications.
  • Infringement Monitoring:
    Partner with legal teams to monitor potential infringements and coordinate appropriate responses.
  • IP Management System:
    Assist in selecting and implementing a global IP management system for all operational units.
  • Trademark Oversight:
    Establish processes for the application, registration, and renewal of trademarks associated with proprietary property management systems.
  • Licensing Agreements:
    Support legal teams in drafting and negotiating IP licensing agreements to protect Stoneriver's proprietary methods.
  • Trade Secret Protection:
    Work with project managers to ensure confidentiality of proprietary techniques and educate employees on safeguarding trade secrets.

Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in law, business, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in intellectual property management, preferably within the real estate sector.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
